Another “I got it from my momma” household tip for ya’ll!
How often do we buy candles that don’t quite fit the candle holder we want to put them in? Well, if you’re like me, every time you go to Target and search the candle aisle.
Serious safety factor aside (helloo fire hazard!) a candle that sits loosely in it’s perfectly picked holder just looks awkward.
Here’s a quick tip to ensure you never have to deal with lopsided lighting again.
Step 1: Light the candle you want to fix – this is important to ensure the wax color matches and is less noticeable once dried.
Step 2: Once the wax has heated up for a few moments start dropping it into the handle holder. Continue to drip until the base of the holder is completely covered.
Step 3: Place the candle into the holder with the heated wax – push down – and voila!
Once the wax solidifies (which happens within minutes) your candle will be sturdy and set to go.
