Picking A Pallet

So I’ve decided I’m going to pick a COLOR A WEEK and show you how you can subtly, or not so subtly, add your favorite color to any room.

I think a great fear people often have with decorating is nervousness about COLOR. People often gravitate towards “safe” colors (black, brown, beige, white…) and are afraid to even look at those pieces that stand out in stores….heaven forbid you even check the price tag on that yellow couch, right?! Wrong.

As I’ve mentioned time and time again, there is no wrong way to decorate & each of us has a unique style and personality. Why not let your home further accentuate your individuality?

This weeks color, teal.

Below are few examples of how you can add this loud but brilliant color palette to your home, ranging from bold and extreme choices, to subtle and fun.

Practical Tip of the Day:

Start Small.

If you are unsure of the color choices you want to make in a room, start with a small item and work your way up from there. A single lamp or vase will suffice and add that extra pop of personality you are looking for. As always, HAVE FUN WITH IT! Make a room that you want to be in and that makes you smile a while…home should be your refuge after all.
