I’m always looking for simple and cost effective ways to make a space or a piece of furniture more unique to my home.
And what is easier then changing out the knobs on an ordinary Ikea dresser with some fun new handles? The only tools you need are a screwdriver some imagination.
Something Old, Something New…Maybe Something Blue
Like the above?
My go-to’s for new knobs are: Anthropolgie, Pier 1 and Home Depot. Anthro especially offers eclectic and unusual knobs and hooks if you are looking for something a bit out of the norm, starting at as low as $8!
I also love the impact of a good set of hooks. Not only are hooks and hangers practical ways for you to hang and organize your things, but they also add that finishing touch to your room – and can be very inexpensive! Low cost and high impact = yes please!
Practical Tip of The Day:
Always ensure you look at how the existing knobs are screwed into your furniture – some handles require two holes and others only one. Make sure you match the existing holes so you avoid having lop sided handles and/or visible holes in your furniture.
