Door Decor

Wreaths are simple, yet impactful ways to add some holiday charm to your home.

And the styles of wreaths you can choose to hang are almost endless!

Let’s start here. What look are you going for this holiday season? Try to envision the type of ambiance you want to surround yourself with in your home. Do you want to feel comfy and cozy this Christmas? Or are you setting the scene for chic and sophisticated soirées?

My philosophy with decorating in general is the same of the holiday season…sometimes just one piece of decor can be the catalyst for the entire theme of a room or home. So start small with the perfect wreath on your door, and work on the inside decor from there.

If you don’t know your holiday style yet (it’s ok if so, it’s still November after all!) here are few examples for you to check out.

Practical Tip of the Day:

Do not…I repeat….do not, feel you need to spend $40 on some wreath you saw at the store. You can make your own wreaths for FAR cheaper than the often simple and supremely overpriced ones you’ll see on the market.

A styrofoam or wire circle can be your best allys this holiday season. Head to your local Michael’s and for a few bucks you’re well on your way to craftiness central. And always remember, there is no wrong way to decorate your home!
